Raé was found by Debby Van Meervelde in 2020.

Debby worked in fashion ever since she was a teenager. What started as a student job, turned out in a passion.

In her last job she had the chance to travel a lot and this is how Raé came to life. 

So in 2021 she decided to take the leap and opened her first store in Oostend.

After 2 years at the beautiful seaside she realized her concept asks for a central location. And moved Raé to Ghent.

From Debby’s point of view:

Raé is a place where everyone is welcome, as long as you love it as much as I do. Every single item hanging in these racks are items I carefully selected, items that I love. I only work with brands that I support and believe in myself.

Raé is not a fast fashion concept, I strongly believe we should turn the narrative and be more conscious about what we buy and where we are willing to invest our money into. 

You don’t just buy at Raé you join an experience.
